Valpolicella superiore Classico "campedel" doc

In order to produce Valpolicella Classico Superiore “Campedel” are used the most precious grapes from the best vineyard, called Campedel.
The grapes are pressed fresh to enhance all the characteristics of this vineyard.

Grapes:
Corvina 40%, Corvinone 35%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 5%.

Location:
It lies in the heart of the Valpolicella classica valley, on the Gnirega hill at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level. The vineyards lies on terraces that extend along the hills facing south. Clayey and calcareous soil.

Cultivation:
Traditional double pergola and new guyot cultivation.

Wine-making:
Destemming, crushing and temperature control during fermentation.

Wine-aging:
The wine ageing in steel barrels and then in the wood barrel.

Special attributes:
Ruby red wine with purple highlights. Its bouquet is intense and complex and reminds of marasca cherry, red fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper.

Cuisine:
Valpolicella Superiore Campedel is the perfect wine to pair with cheese and second courses like roast, braised and grilled meat.
